In the heart of the picturesque Northwest Michigan, overlooking the serene waters of Lake Charlevoix, this September wedding unfolded at the charming Charlevoix Yacht Club. The weather was perfect, the sunlight golden, and love was in the air! The wedding of Mitchell and Kayla brought friends from all over together and a night full of celebration!
The Details
The details and decor of this wedding felt like something out of a magazine! Some of my favorite flat lay designs came from Mitchell and Kayla's day.
First Look
Mitchell and Kayla had their first look out on the pier. Kayla, a vision of elegance, donned a beautiful satin gown that spoke volumes in its simplicity. What stole the show, however, was her exquisite cape adorned with pearls, adding a touch of regal grace to her ensemble. As she got to show Mitchell her bridal look there was a dry eye around. Their moment together show just how much they loved each other.
The Ceremony
With the backdrop of swaying boats and Lake Charlevoix this ceremony was a joy for all to witness.

Cocktail Hour
Drinks flowing and friends and family catching up with each other! What was so nice about how we structured the timeline was that Mitchell and Kayla got to spend the cocktail hour visiting their guests.
The Reception
After getting a few more portraits on site the reception began and the festivities continued into the night, with the dance floor becoming a hub of joy and celebration. The party never stopped!
The Boys
To finish my time the night ended with the groommens having their moment to shine. With drinks and cigars we created some amazing shots!
